Pick Bias
While, we here, at Prometheus Financial believe in our stock picks, it goes without saying that all investing has its risks. We base our daily stock picks off a proprietary algorithm that we have modified to pull results that we think are favorable for intraday growth. While this investment strategy may not work for everyone, it has proven extremely effective for us.
We tend to target stocks that have a history of acting in accordance to our algorithm. Much of our information is constantly changing. Our picks are based on what stocks are most likely to move in accordance with our algorithm. We rate those picks on their level of consistent change as well as their amount of change. Those ratings are reprocessed every night so that our target change is more consistent with the actual market results.
Example Of Our Picks Section
In the above example, from our members section, you can see the basic
layout for our daily picks. Every morning the stock picks are posted 15 minutes
before the market opens. We wait this long on purpose. This extra amount of time
gives us the ability to analyze information all the way up to when the market
opens. The result is the screen above. Each of the blue bars represents one of
our ten daily stock picks. Interacting with our software is easy. Simply click
on the blue bar for the desired stock and all the corresponding information
refreshes for your particular selection.
Each of our picks contains a rating as well as a typical growth. This
number is what we use to determine our sell range. This typical growth
calculation is based on previous reactions by the stock to similar trading days.
The result is not only a great stock pick but a remarkably accurate sell range.
The rating system is based on a three star rating. The higher rating reflects a
stock that has had considerable history of favorable reactions to similar
trading days.
Everynight are ratings are recalculated to reflect new information from the previous day. This ensures that the typical growth constantly changes.
